Description:

In this interactive webinar, Dr. Reeves will address one of the greatest concerns of teachers and leaders as they confrtont the coming school year:  "How can I possibly cover everything?"  Our research suggests that Power Standards are the best way to provide the curriculum, instruction, and assessment for what matters most.  He will consider first the rationale for standards and how they can be improved.  Second, he will consider how districts can save money during tight budget times.  Participants will leave this webinar with a clear focus, time saving ideas, and a process for saving resources in the district.

PRESENTER:

Dr. Douglas Reeves is the author of more than 40 books and 100 articles on education and leadership.  Twice named to the Harvard University Distinguished Authors Series, Doug received the Contribution to the Field Award from the National Staff Development Council (now Learning Forward) and was named the Brock International Laureate for his contributions to education.  Doug has shared his research in all fifty states and more than 40 countries.
