"Thriving Through Adversity"

When:  Wednesday, January 12, 2021 -  3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. (PT)

Description:

Please join CASCD and the Center for Learning and Well-Being for a free Webinar that will empower educators with Powerful Strategies to Ignite Hope, Inspire Students and Transform Schools. As educators stepped into the 2021-2022 school year, they were quick to realize that there are still many pandemic related challenges to overcome to keep all students, families, and staff members safe. That said, this webinar examines the role that educators have as Ignitors of Hope in the lives of their students, colleagues and stakeholders within their school communities. Educator, author and advocate for hope, Michelle Trujillo, will introduce five ways to ignite hope and lead participants to explore SEL strategies that meet students (and adults!) in the moment! Participants will walk away with practical ideas to foster a connected and inclusive school and classroom culture, as well as compassionate action steps to support the well-being of students and nourish one’s own social emotional well-being, so that educators and students alike, will thrive through adversity!

After registering to attend for this FREE webinar, you will receive a confirmation email followed by the zoom meeting link to join.

Michelle Trujillo, professional learning facilitator, author, and advocate for hope for an engaging virtual experience.  Michelle's keynote presentations and educational workshops leave audiences encouraged, empowered and ready to put ideas and strategies into practice!
