Are your schools feeling disrupted?

Educators today have been dealing with major imposing changes and now have a window of opportunity to shape education in a way that will impact the profession for generations.

The Bright Future of Education depends on us.

Current challenges affect staffing, funding, morale, and the continuity of student learning. Explore the educational hurdles of the past in the context of present-day concerns and envision an education system where all schools energetically embrace the PLC at Work(R) process.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply lessons learned from past challenges in education to present-day concerns
  • Understand the racial, gender, and disability movements of the past
  • Internalize how to re-culture your school through the development of a guiding coalition
  • Explore the critical tenants of the PLC at Work process and why they are more timely today than ever before
  • Unpack how to form strong collaborative teacher teams that fully implement the four Critical Questions of a PLC at Work

Dr. Anthony Muhammad, an educational consultant and practitioner for more than 20 years, served as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, middle school principal, and high school principal.  Winner of several awards, as both a teacher and a principal, his most notable accomplishment came as principal at Levey Middle School in Southfield, Michigan, a National School of Excellence, where student proficiency on state assessments more than doubled in 5 years.
